Privacy Policy
What information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Last updated: 2026-10-11
1. Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Alamo City Initiatives LLC, doing business as IntelliSign ("we", "us"), handles personal information collected through our website, quote form, chat assistant, approval pages, and our communications with customers and prospective customers in the United States.
Our signs are manufactured by a manufacturing partner located outside the United States. To prepare your design and make your sign, some of your project information is shared with that partner, as described below.
2. Information we collect
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Contact and business details | Name, business name, email address, phone number, whether you opted in to WhatsApp messages, mailing and shipping address. |
| Project details | Sign type, sizes, budget, installation location, notes and preferences you share with us. |
| Files you upload | Logos, artwork, photos of your building or wall, and similar files. |
| Chat conversations | Messages you send to our AI chat assistant and its replies (transcripts are stored). |
| Order and approval records | Quotations, design versions, approvals, and the approval record: the name you type, date and time, IP address, and a digital fingerprint (hash) of the exact proof or video you approved. |
| Payment information | Invoice and payment status. Card and bank details are entered directly with our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers. |
| Communications | Emails, WhatsApp or text messages, and call notes. |
| Device and usage data | IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, and how you interact with the site. |
| Cookie and pixel data | Identifiers set by analytics and advertising tools, only if you accept them (see Cookies). |
We do not ask for sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, health information or precise geolocation. Please do not send it to us through the forms or chat.
3. Where we get information
- From you, when you fill out the quote form, chat with our assistant, upload files, approve a proof or video, pay an invoice, or contact us.
- Automatically, from your browser or device when you visit the website.
- From service providers and advertising partners, such as analytics reports and ad conversion data, if you have accepted cookies.
4. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare quotations, design proofs and mockups.
- To manufacture, ship and support your order, including the design and completion-video approvals.
- To send invoices and process payments.
- To communicate with you about your quote or order by email, phone, WhatsApp or text (where you have opted in).
- To keep records of approvals and transactions, and to resolve disputes, warranty claims and shipping claims.
- To operate, secure and improve the website, and to prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
- To measure our advertising and, if you accept cookies, to show you relevant ads on other sites.
- To send marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
5. Our AI chat assistant
The chat assistant on our website uses artificial intelligence provided by a third-party AI provider. When you chat, your messages are sent to that provider to generate replies. We store chat transcripts so we can follow up on your inquiry, prepare a quote and improve our service. Project details you share in the chat may be added to your quote request.
The assistant gives general information only; its answers are not quotations. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat. Chat messages are processed by our AI provider only to generate replies; its commercial terms do not allow it to use this content to train its models. We keep chat transcripts as described under "How long we keep information".
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed for the purposes above, with the following categories of recipients:
| Recipient | Why |
|---|---|
| Our manufacturing partner | To prepare designs and mockups, manufacture your sign, record completion videos and ship it to you. They receive project details, artwork, and shipping contact details. |
| Website hosting and file storage providers | To run the website and store uploaded files and records (for example, cloud storage or our own server). |
| Email and messaging providers | To send and receive email and WhatsApp or text messages, including notifications to our team about new inquiries. |
| AI provider | To power the chat assistant. |
| Payment processor | To issue invoices and process payments. |
| Shipping carriers and customs brokers | To deliver your sign and clear it through customs. |
| Analytics and advertising partners | To measure website use and ad performance and, if you accept cookies, to show you ads (see below). |
| Professional advisers and authorities | Lawyers, accountants and insurers; and government authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. |
| Business successors | If our business is sold or reorganized, as part of that transaction. |
Because our manufacturing partner is located outside the United States, information shared with them is processed outside the United States.
7. Cookies, pixels and advertising
We use essential cookies needed for the website to work (for example, security, form protection and remembering your cookie choice). These are always on.
With your permission, we also use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. The Meta tools load only after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. The Google tag loads on every page in Google's "Consent Mode": until you click "Accept" it sets no advertising or analytics cookies and sends Google only limited, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed or a quote form was submitted), which Google uses to estimate ad performance in aggregate. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, none of these tools load. They help us understand how visitors use the site, measure which ads lead to quote requests, and show our ads to people who have visited our site. When the Meta Conversions API is used, certain event information may be sent from our server to Meta, only if you have accepted cookies.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
8. "Sale" and "sharing" of personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. However, some state laws treat allowing advertising partners (such as Google and Meta) to collect identifiers and browsing activity through cookies and pixels as a "sale" or as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you accept advertising cookies, the categories involved are device and usage data, cookie identifiers, and related interaction data.
How to opt out:
- Click "Decline" on our cookie banner (or change your choice later in cookie settings). Advertising cookies will not be set and the Meta tools will not load.
- Use a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We honor GPC as an opt-out of sale and sharing for that browser.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
9. Your state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California (under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA) and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have about you, and the categories of sources, purposes and recipients;
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax, warranty or approval purposes);
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Obtain a portable copy of your information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We will not deny service or charge different prices because you exercised a privacy right.
These rights may not apply in every state or to every type of information, such as information collected in a purely business-to-business context in some states. We will tell you if an exception applies.
10. How to exercise your rights
- Email sales@intellisignco.com with your request and the email or phone number you used with us. You can also call us at +1 (210) 415-8586.
- Verification. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide with our records, and may ask for more information to confirm your identity.
- Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent. We may ask for proof of the agent's authority and ask you to verify your identity directly.
- Timing. We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days, which may be extended where allowed).
- Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing sales@intellisignco.com with "Privacy appeal" in the subject. If you disagree with the outcome of your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.
11. WhatsApp, text and email messages
WhatsApp and text messages. By opting in, you agree to receive messages about your quote and order by WhatsApp or text. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase. You can also opt out by contacting us. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing.
Email. We send emails about your quote and order. If we send marketing emails, each one will include an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. Opting out of marketing emails does not stop messages about an active quote or order.
12. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above:
- Quote requests, chat transcripts and uploads that do not become orders: 24 months after our last contact with you.
- Orders, approval records, invoices and related files: for the life of the warranty and as long as needed for tax, legal and dispute purposes, up to 7 years after the order is completed.
- Analytics and advertising data: according to the retention settings of those tools (Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months).
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and restricted access to stored files. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet.
14. Children and business use
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. You must be at least 18 to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the website or contact you.
